Well, I'll be deleting all my stuff here tomorrow, for obvious reasons. If I want to be censored I might as well do it at DA.
The thing that really gets me is all the stuff from the anti-porn types. The lion's share of the arguments seem to revolve around characterizing people who draw adult art as whiners who think the admins owe them something, and are obsessed with porn.
You know what? I'm not claiming the admins owe me something; I HAVE my own webspace, I don't NEED their venue, I simply liked getting comments and networking, and the chance to do that with my adult art would have been something for which I'd have gladly paid for a membership. And anyone that looks at my work knows I draw a lot more than pornography, and I've often had my adult work described as something of quality (funny how that doesn't seem to even enter some of my friends' minds when they describe all people who draw adult art in unflattering terms).
What I resent is that the admins built their entire reputation on being more permissive and liberal than DA. They played this angle up a hundred times, just look at how they wooed people who were banned from DA, and how over and over again they've promised they wouldn't change their rules to disallow adult art. And shock of shocks, look what happened. And on the official threads, the admins are acting like children (since, i guess, they still are kids), insulting people who are dissatisfied rather than acting like the professionals they seem to want to be. Obviously, they're not worth a bit of trust (picking such a lame name should have been the tipoff for me), and I expect the backlash to be severe.
